The state Labor Department says Athens recorded an unemployment rate of 3.1 percent in February, down one-tenth of a percent from January. A year ago, the rate was 3.2 percent. The four-county Athens metro includes Clarke, Oconee, Oglethorpe, and Madison counties. From the Ga Dept of Labor...
